Looking for Luck

Endless queues of applicants behind doors of European embassies are not new in recent years. Black-haired guys heading to the so-called first-world blonde countries dreaming of a better life or perhaps, at least to get rid of the mess here. Actually, yet by theory, every body has the right to choose his/her place of living as stipulated in article No.13 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. No one is authorized to inhibit emigration or immigration nationwide or worldwide.
But let's see what happens when it comes to the real stage. At first immigration door has never been opened to all within several past decades. Especially during recent years, hosting countries have gradually intensified provisions for granting citizenship visa in terms of knowledge and property of the applicants. Actually only the elites are allowed to enter; young fresh strong labours readily available!
On the one hand the elites are not welcomed in their own community; while they are ambitiously keen on making progress both in their own life and the community and need strongly to be supported, the governments are disgustingly corrupt, repelling and neutralising all the capabilities of its true forces. Such condition has caused the majority of the distinguished university graduates to be keen on just leaving the cesspool! Complete despair! Is there any choice other than leaving? The answer heard from most of those already left or on the waiting list is: practically not! just to stay and give up; what all those staying seem to be carrying on. This seems fair in view of personal welfare.
On the other hand there are the benefits gained by the hosting country. It is undeniable that brain force is the major and most influential inventory in any progressive society. So while the origin nations are brain-drained, the target countries already rich in brain, receive more. While the target country pays nothing to train the brains, it may even charge to grant entrance permit. This causes the gap between north and south keeps widening.
What is the solution? As long as the process runs as now, there could be no promising future. I think the only hope is twofold. First is on the side of the elites; unless there is no resistance, noting will improve. I think there is an alternative to leave: to stay and resist not give-up. Helping to make a difference in a non-developed part of the world is much worthier than helping a developed country to develop more. I accept this seems unaffordable, even to me! On the side of developed world, I think they should facilitate rather than intensify the provisions for the young generations to visit, work and study in their countries, yet at the same time motivate them to return to their native countries and help in making progress. Until moving abroad is a sheer wish for the youth in countries like us, harder immigration provisions will only harden the situation.
